Kristy was renowned for her radiant smile, her outgoing personality, and her ability to bring light and positivity to even the darkest of days. She adopted the phrase "shining with hope," as her motto while defying the odds and never allowing a cancer diagnosis to prevent her from enjoying life to the fullest. Kristy found her calling working as a registered nurse, while inspiring others with her story and leaving a lasting impression on her patients. Kristy was a beloved fiancée, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She had a remarkable sense of humor and an infectious laugh.  Kristy was loyal, selfless, and a true ”fighter.”  She was a role model and a hero to so many.  While she is gone from this world far too soon and will be forever missed,  the mission of this foundation is to continue to fulfill her desire to help those who are in the midst of their own battle with cancer.
